Come Join our Team

At HTX, we want to make sure not only that your swimmer is placed in the right training group, but also that our program is the right fit for your family.

The first step for any new swimmer is an in-water evaluation. After the evaluation, we’ll place your swimmer in the appropriate group and review all the important details—start date, practice schedule, costs, and more—so you know exactly what to expect before getting started.

We do offer a full year payment options that receives a $150 discount for the year.

  • Team Payment and Refund Policy

When a swimmer joins the HTX Swims Competitive Team, they are making a commitment to a year-round competitive program. To support team planning and budgeting, families are required to commit financially for either a multi-month session or a full year.

Commitment – Once registered, families are financially responsible for the full session (Fall, Spring, or Summer) or the full year if chosen.

Non-Refundable Dues – If a swimmer discontinues participation during their session, the unused portion of dues is non-refundable.

Outstanding Balances – Remaining group fees for that session will still be billed in full.

Exceptions – In cases such as extended illness, injury, or family relocation, partial credits or exceptions may be considered at the discretion of HTX Swims.

This approach allows us to provide consistent coaching, secure pool space, and deliver the best experience for every swimmer.

Group Placement

New and Transfer Swimmers

When placing new swimmers into HTX groups, we look at a combination of factors:

  • Stroke technique

  • Stroke knowledge

  • Swimming background

  • Social age and maturity

Not every swimmer who completes an evaluation will be placed into one of our training groups. If we feel that a lesson program, private instruction, or another option is a better fit at this time, we’ll guide you toward the right path and do our best to help your swimmer find a place to swim.
